While walking my dog today I met someone who was also walking his two dogs. He had a black poodle chihuahua mix and a mop dog. A few minutes in conversation he mentioned that the mop dog was getting old and that he and his girlfriend were having issues as to what they should do for it. Should they get the surgery for it's spine or should they just let her live out her last years? I could see that his mop dog was glad to see my dog. He said that dogs end up dying like everything else, it's just how life works. You can't keep fixing everything, sometimes things just have to be let go.
What should he do? Should he just let the dog die?
